This Sunday's communion offering will support the Sunday Fund to assist senior adults living on Methodist Senior Services campuses, such as Wesley Manor Retirement Community. Without Sunday Fund assistance, there are men and women who could no longer maintain their residency. One hundred percent of the money donated to the Sunday Fund is used to support elders who have outlived their resources and must ask for help. We encourage you to please give generously, so we can turn worry into joy and turn concern into peace for the elders God calls us all to serve. Thank you!

You are not too late to contribute to our Christmas-Easter Fund. We are still accepting donations! Each week our church receives numerous requests for assistance from our community. Our neighbors are often struggling to put food on the table, purchase medications and even keep a roof over their heads. Unfortunately, we cannot always help. We use our best judgment to assist those we can, often in small but meaningful ways. Our Christmas-Easter Fund is how we provide our community assistance. This offering also provides the only funds to support emerging, new ministry efforts throughout the year. You can give online here: http://www.parkwayheights.org/give and select "Easter Offering" as your designation. Thank you for your generosity as we continue to serve those in need in our community!

Alleluia! He is Risen! We celebrated our victory through our Lord Jesus Christ on Easter Sunday! Here are a few pictures from our Easter brunch.
Morning Has Broken Morning has broken, but this morning is different. The birds are singing tunes of joy in the trees surrounding the graves. The flower buds are bursting in colors vibrant around each stone. We've come to visit the grave of a friend, but "He is not here." The Sun is rising in the East; the shadowed grays turn bright! The Son is risen in our Hearts; darkness and death end in defeat. Now we understand what Christ said, what God did. Now we can proclaim, CHRIST IS RISEN! HALLELUJAH! by the Rev. Nathan Decker
Hallelujah! He is Risen! Celebrate Easter with us tomorrow - Sunday, April 21 - at either 8:30 or 11 a.m. Everyone is welcome! We will also enjoy an Easter brunch at 9:30 a.m. in the Atrium. Sunday School classes will still be taking place.
Saturday, April 20: Read John 19:38-42. Spend five minutes in sheer silence. Just be still.
